Job Description 13;
The Senior Infrastructure Engineers role is to ensure the stability and integrity of in:house voice, data, video and wireless network services. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) across the organization. In addition, the Infrastructure Engineer will participate with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software and aide the IT group in support and implementation of the physical and virtual infrastructure as needed. This individual will also analyze, monitor and resolve network and server hardware and software problems.
:Proactively recommend, design, configure and troubleshoot company LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, including routers, hubs, switches, UPSs, and other network hardware to ensure their smooth and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
:Proactively monitor local and remote datacenter operations and equipment. This includes UPSs, HVAC, power, facility security systems and all datacenter processes and procedures.
:Manage and maintain the Windows Active Directory and Group Policies.
:Work in a team to support application and Microsoft SQL database servers for the flight operations department
:Work on end:to:end infrastructure requirements including building virtual environments, networking, install software containers, load balancers, submitting requests, deploy applications
:Monitor and manage network and system performance, provide performance metrics, and troubleshoot problem areas as needed.
:Conduct periodic capacity planning exercises and make recommendations to optimize performance and capacity utilization.
:Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network design, configuration, processes, disaster recovery, failover, and service records.

Job Qualifications 13;
:Four:year college diploma or university degree in computer science and engineering.
:Training or experience with ITIL and COBIT fundamentals.
:Five years of IT experience with emphasis in networking. Multilocation experience is a requirement.
:Five or more years of experience in Microsoft system management and demonstrated experience in installation and configuration of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012 R2, File sharing servers, Windows TS and RDP, Active Directory, Windows IIS, FTP and Windows Hyper:V
:Familiarity with Sabre Flight Control Suite, ACARS and Sabre Airline Products is a plus
:Five or more years of extensive hands:on experience with Cisco/Dell networking solutions including routers, firewalls, VPN concentrators, hubs, switches, gateways, access devices, wireless access points, etc.
