CNC Operator/Assembly Worker
CNC machine operators set up CNC machinery for production runs. They are responsible that the machine has the proper computer program and necessary tools installed. Operators monitor machinery for any problems during the production run. If there is an issue, operators may adjust the program to correct the problem or consult with a programmer who fixes the program. After items have been produced, CNC machine operators ensure that they meet specifications and verify their quality. Other duties are as follow:
Cleaning and maintenance of CNC
Replacing MDF substrate as needed
Clean/ empty vacuum debris container
Place aluminum panel material on machine for cutting
Removing finished product from machine table
Loading product on to cart.
Adjust CNC machine settings and tolerances as needed
Randomly measure panel cut to insure it matches program
Confirm the color/vendor/core of flat sheet prior to running material
Completion of proper paperwork and filing of such

The CNC Operator will also work with our Assembly team, and will help with fabrication of ACM Panels, when the Operator is not needed on the CNC Machine. Please see description below.

It is the duty of the assembly worker to insure that his/her work station are producing quality, Aluminum Composite Panels, or other products made in his/her work station.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:Panel production must be done with the highest level of quality to ensure no scratches, blemishes, dings, dents, bends or other issues result from poor handling.
:Panel quality must be ensured by checking that the panel being made is the proper size, shape, color, bent in accordance, etc.
:Panel timelines are based on degree of difficulty. Do not rush to get panels made if you are sacrificing quality. Assemblyman will be judged on production and quality.
:Cleanliness of the Assemblymans workplace: All workstations are to be kept clean and free of any hazards. All assemblymen will be held responsible for their work areas and evaluated accordingly.
:Tool management of your workstation: It is the responsibility of the assemblyman to manage, clean and organize his/her tools at their workstations.
:Spot check panel compliance: It is mandatory for the panel assemblyman to be spot checked to ensure that the panel is being assembled properly, with precision and quality.
:Make overall good quality decisions
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Capable of standing at workstation throughout the day
Able to operate basic hand tools and power tools : tin snips, files, drills, rivet guns, etc.
Comfortable cutting aluminum extrusions on power miter saw
Ability to read measurements on a standard tape measure
MUST have reliable transportation
