We strongly believe that the manner in which our patients and customers are treated by our employees is as important as the services provided by the doctor.Ophthalmic Technician Supervisor Responsibilities: Personnel ManagementAssist in recruitment, hiring, training and disciplinary action of clinical staff.Supervise personnel including preparation and monitoring of job descriptions and personnel evaluations.Appropriately schedule technical staff in accordance with clinic needs ensuring enough staff is scheduled; approve requests for time off for clinical staff.Supervises technical staff, ensuring patients are seen in a timely manner and job responsibilities are followed through.Point of contact for anize and conduct quarterly meetings for clinical staff.Plan and organize in:service training programs and addresses mistakes made by technical staff.Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the function and efficiency of the back office.Clinical Responsibilities: working supervisorPatient work:ups and diagnostic testing.Answer patient questions and telephone inquiries, including but not limited to attaining resolution of patient problems or complaints.Ensure proper control over the floor and patient flow.Delegate charts to rooms.Responsible for preparing and breaking down examination rooms.Ensure proper maintenance, repair and calibration of all ophthalmic equipment is scheduled and performed.Trouble shoot malfunctioning equipment.Assists with injections as needed.Assist doctors as needed.AdministrativeTroubleshoot any problems that arise in clinic.Consult with Physicians and practice administrator regarding scheduling templates and implement any changes or updates. Attend weekly management meetings.
