Summaryof Duties and Responsibilities * Contribute in development and execution of externalclinical evaluations of new and changed products. * Contribute in change control for continuous productimprovements. * Provide training for service and technical support associatesof new and changed products. * Will be closely involved with user and service manualdocumentation, field installation and evaluation, and field service support. * Must be willing to work in a fast paced, interruptdriven environment, while handling multiple concurrent tasks. * Ability to follow and execute complex softwareprograms and commands. * Position requires considerable interpretation ofdata, independent judgment, and extensive product knowledge in order to handlevaried situations. * Frequent domestic and occasional international travelrequired. Valid and active passport isrequired. * Work with the Imaging Sciences for optimum imagequality and calibration procedures. * Contribute in development and validation of User andService instructions of new and changed product. * Perform requirements as business needs arise whileensuring processes are completed within a timely manner under FDA regulations. * Works as a member of a team with Technical SupportSpecialists and management. * Works with Electrical and Software Engineers, R&DEngineers and/or Manufacturing Engineers as a team. * Provide support to Field Service Engineers and TechnicalSupport Engineers to increase customer satisfaction and increase productuptime/reliability. Qualifications * Stronghands-on software and electromechanical troubleshooting skills. * Goodverbal and written communication skills. * Excellentinterpersonal and team skills. * Goodcustomer service and follow up skills. * Softwareknowledge of NT/Windows/Unix/Linux/DOS environments. * Stronganalytical competency. Education * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ComputerScience or Bio-Medical Engineering or equivalent work experience. Experience * Minimum 5 years of experience with system diagnosisand troubleshooting. * Medical industry experience preferred. SpecializedKnowledge * Electronics testing, troubleshooting and executionskills. * Knowledge of X-ray fundamentals, networking, HIS,DICOM and PACS preferred.
