We have an opening for a technical professional to function as a Data Center Engineer. We are looking for a self-motivated, dedicated individual who is ready to put their technical skills to work in a fast-paced, customer focused environment. Utilizing your technical knowledge, you will have the responsibility of responding to customer calls in a timely and efficient manner to install, troubleshoot, analyze and diagnose HP, Dell and IBM servers in a critical environment. You will provide problem resolution or refer more complex issues to a Sr. Support Engineer. Maintenance of inventory and documentation of activity will demonstrate strong organizational skills.Job Description:The ideal candidate will be responsible for the IMAC and hardware break / fix support. Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment (HP/DELL/IBM Servers).Rack/Stack and Installs servers, switches and PDUsCabling of new servers and switchesIdentifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.Experience and Skills Required:Possess positive attitude and strong analytical skillsMust be a self-starter who is able to work independently without supervision and within a team environmentMust possess a professional demeanor and the ability to develop effective working relationships with end users and stakeholdersShould be a good team playerWorking experience with new installs and cablingWorking experience with Remote Access Cards (IBM RSA, HP iLo, Dell ERA/DRAC, Sun LOM)Working experience with HP BL\DL\ML seriesWorking experience with Dell PowerEdge series.CompTia A+ CertificationCompTia Server+ CertificationVolt is an Equal Opportunity Employer - provided by DiceData Center Engineer
