Job Description: Participates in design, development and implementation of architectural deliverables, to include components of the assessment and optimization of system design and review of user requirements. Contributes to the determination of technical and operational feasibility of solutions. Develops prototypes of the system design and works with database, operations, technical support and other IT areas as appropriate throughout development and implementation processes. May lead multiple projects with competing deadlines. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as team member and individual contributor. Will not have direct reports but will influence and direct activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations, as well as mentor junior band 5 Architect 1's. Provides input on staffing, budget and personnel. Typically 7 or more years of architecture experience. Responsible for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) design, issues, and solution considerations while working with application development on alignment of resources to documented commitments, and on-time delivery of those commitments. Responsible for modeling and delivering reusable service interfaces. Acts as a point of contact for web service delivery, with the ability to identify service and process candidates, and clearly document and communicate design recommendations across projects at an enterprise level. Required Skills / Experience: * Experience with designing and developing web services in a model-driven approach * Ability to write and maintain clear end-user documentation including design documentation, Service APIs, Use Cases, and Data definitions * Strong experience in Object-oriented and resource based design * Experience with Banking products and financial domain business acumen * Experience in creating reusable model-based artifacts (XSD/WSDL/WADL/Swagger) * Hands-on tools and API experience: Source control (SVN,Perforce), Eclipse/EMF, UML, XML parsing, JSON, SOAP, REST, Data mapping * Effectively communicate, influence, partner, and deliver in a highly demanding and collaborative team-based environment Desired Skills / Experience: * Exposure to service governance policies, service portfolio and release management * Competency in architecture methods, application best practices, and the software development life cycle * Working with any of process modeling, data modeling, business rules, service taxonomies * Prioritizing work across multiple projects, risk identification, issue resolution Posting Date: 08/28/2017 Location: US-DE-Newark Travel: No Full / Part-time: Full time Hours Per Week: 40 Shift: 1st shiftPosted by StartWire
