Aerotek is currently seeking to hire a medical receptionist for one of our clients located in the Newark, DE area. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for front office reception and administrative duties such as greeting patients, answering telephone to office standards, scheduling patient appointments, and processing co pays/deductibles. Must Have:- Ability to establish positive patient/customer rapport- 1+ Year of Experience as a Administrator or Receptionist in the medical field - Strong communications skills (oral and written)- Strong end-user computer skillsAdditional Job Responsibilities:- Ensure patient expectations are exceeded by directing and communicating patient needs effectively and efficiently.- Effectively answer the telephone and schedule patient appointments to office standards.- Effectively greet incoming patients upon entering the office.- Maximize patient flow, by organizing and communicating with other associates and patients to maintain an efficient office.- Obtain and verify insurance eligibility for all applicable patients.- Ensure patients have completed a registration from for current year and all demographic and insurance information is accurate. - Check patients out and schedule follow up appointments.- Close and balance day end report by completing deposit, ensuring that it properly balances.- Maintain cleanliness and organized appearance of front desk at all times.Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.- Complete referrals for patients as necessary.- Print schedule for following day appointments and ensure all super bills are printed and verified.- Maintain security and confidentiality.- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, sorting and distributing mail. etc.Pay Rate: $12 to $13 an hour based on experienceAbout Aerotek: Our people are everything.
