PeopleShare is seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Services Coordinator in Newark, DE! Schedule:Monday-Friday; Basic business hours Pay Rate: Based on experience Temporary to Hire Job Responsibilities & Description: Ensures accurate and timely execution of department functions. Establishes and maintains internal controls. Initiates monthly close procedure. Maintains general ledger integrity. Reconciles asset and liability accounts to their subsidiary ledgers, including bank accounts. Assists the Director, Financial Services with other accounting tasks as assigned. Validate and sets up accounts, units and product codes. Prepares, enters and posts general ledger entries. Reviews all journal entries for all cash, check and credit card deposits. Maintains bank accounts by initiating inter-account transfers, downloading account detail, and preparation of documentation for wire transfer requests. Assists the Director, Financial Services with banking relationships by maintaining all bank account paperwork, and acting as a liaison for resolution of banking problems such as credit card charge backs, service fees, etc. Responsible for monitoring and collecting the collection of unpaid receivables, and providing updates regarding relevant outstanding receivables and the associated collection efforts. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Five plus years of Accounting experience required Must be a detail-oriented person with strong organizational and communication skills Computer skills required: data entry, word processing, and accounting software Advanced spreadsheet knowledge required Ability to use a 10-key calculator Must be able to make two or three trips per year PeopleShare is the leading Staffing Agency in the region and has temporary to hire and permanent jobs in Delaware (DE) - New Castle, Newark, and Wilmington.
