Global Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) is a best-in-class, global HR Service Delivery organization of over 800 people, servicing the entire global population of JPMC, currently totaling over 260,000 employees worldwide, in 60 countries. HRSD provides vital services in the area of Payroll, accessHR, Workforce Analytics (Surveys) and On/Off boarding employees. HRSD supports the firm in achieving its strategic priorities by leveraging the firm's core principles of superior employee experience, operational excellence, efficient global coverage and a commitment to its people. The Payroll Tax Compliance Consultant will report to the Global Business Travel Compliance Officer, and be responsible for providing the highest quality tax compliance support to our senior customers by analyzing, researching, and resolving questions/inquiries via cases received from accessHR. Cases may be forwarded to the HR Case Management Advisor from accessHR or entered directly into the Case Management system by the Advisor. Interpret tax information to ensure employees are correctly taxed for payroll payments. Remain current on all federal, state and local payroll tax updates. Work tax cases to completion, within the service level agreement, ensuring the client's needs are satisfied. Responsibilities: * Support the corporation's global payroll tax compliance, in adherence with federal, state, and local laws, ensuring the inclusion of best practices * Interpret Global Business Travel tax calculations processed by third party vendor which includes applying Foreign Exchange rates and various calculation methodologies * Review & perform Global Business Travel tax calculations processed by third party vendor applying Foreign Exchange rates and various calculation methodologies * Perform in-depth research, analyze, and resolve employee tax inquiries that have been logged into the Case Management system efficiently and thoroughly * Keeping current on tax releases through communication with KPMG, EY, and other tax experts * Resolve tax errors for on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls * Ensure effective communication to Senior Executive Employees in responding to complex tax inquiries * Update employee tax data in coordination with the Legal and Corporate Tax Departments * Attentiveness to detail and the ability to handle complex resolution accurately and timely * Manage cases meeting both volume and quality service measurement standards * Communicate ideas and contribute to the tactical development of the department and corporate goals * Bachelor's degree * 1 years of accounting and tax experience is required * Multi-State payroll tax experience with in-depth knowledge of federal, state, local tax compliance, including year-end W-2 wage and tax statements * Knowledge and experience applying foreign exchange rates including monthly and annual average * Understanding of tax methodologies; supplemental, aggregate, and annualized * Working knowledge of an integrated payroll system (SAP, PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Query, ADP) * Strong analytical and technical skills; knowledge of benchmarking processes and solutions * Proficient use of the Microsoft Suite including Excel * Models importance of controls and compliance in payroll and payroll tax work * Superior attention to detail and tenacity to follow through and resolve outstanding issues * Strong organizational skills and able to multitask, meeting multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with changing and competing initiatives * Excellent communication and relationship management skills, ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management * Ability to quickly absorb product knowledge, process information; apply appropriately to meet client's needs * Must be both a team player and a self-managed individual, with ability to work in a virtual environment **Job:** **Payroll Services* **Organization:** **CORPORATE SECTOR* **Title:** *Payroll Tax Compliance Consultant* **Location:** *DE-Newark-Iron Hill - Cole House Buildin / 58786* **Requisition ID:** *170010192* **Other Locations:** *US-NJ-Jersey City-NOC 5 - 575 Washington / 02969, US-FL-Tampa-HO1-10430 Highland Manor / 02973*
